OFSTED – Yuzu Training Result

Yuzu Training is delighted to be awarded ‘Good’ in our recent Ofsted inspection.

This Ofsted report was a glowing endorsement of the training we provide. Findings from our report acknowledge the improvement in the quality of our courses; and the excellent support our staff offer.

We are especially proud that our personal development approach and the behaviour & attitudes of our staff have been regarded at the highest possible standard (Outstanding). These results would not be possible without the hard work and dedication of our team.

Thanks go to our employers for the support they offered us throughout the Ofsted process. The ongoing partnerships we build with our employers ensure an exemplary apprentice experience. We would like to thank the Scoffs Group in particular, for their ongoing partnership. Over the years, we have seen many examples of learners progress through Costa Coffee from Barista to Senior Level Management. Which is a testament to their progression structure and shared passion for work-based learning.

With special appreciation, we thank our learners who have demonstrated impeccable behaviour. Whilst sharing valuable insight with the inspection team. Detailing their experiences & achievements whilst on the programme with Yuzu.

We hope that in the future, we can continue to build off our recent success and offer even more learning opportunities and career prospects to the next generation of Yuzu learners.

Below is a summary of the report’s key findings:

“Apprentices have extremely positive attitudes towards their learning and are rightly highly complementary about the support and guidance they receive. They value their learning greatly and recognise the importance of the new skills and knowledge they are developing.”

“Apprentices take pride in their work, have excellent attendance, and are proud to have been selected by their employer to participate in the apprenticeship programme.”

“Apprentices are supported extremely well to develop their confidence in both their current roles and their career development. Apprentices and their employers are positive about the difference the apprenticeship has made to the apprentices’ competence, confidence, and enthusiasm in the workplace. As they learn new management techniques, for example, their confidence in what they can do grows, which in turn encourages them to develop their own staff teams and aspire for personal career progression.”
