Hi, I’m Angie, a dedicated and experienced trainer in the health and social care sector with nearly 19 years of expertise in the field. Throughout my career, I’ve developed a deep understanding of the unique challenges and needs within health and social care, which enables me to deliver high-quality training that empowers professionals to provide compassionate and effective care.
I’m passionate about fostering a learning environment that is supportive, inclusive, and conducive to professional growth. I’m committed to continuous improvement in health and social care, and I stay current with industry trends, regulations, and best practices. These are seamlessly integrated into my training sessions, ensuring that learners are always equipped with the most up-to-date knowledge and skills.
A day in my life is dynamic and multifaceted. I need to be adaptable, organised, and empathetic, balancing the demands of teaching with assessing learners in diverse and often challenging environments. This role is integral to making sure that health and social care workers are confident, competent, and ready to provide the highest standard of care.
I started my journey at Kiwi & Yuzu after meeting with the CEO, and I knew it was the right choice to join the team. Within a month, I was on board and haven’t looked back since. One of my proudest accomplishments here is supporting numerous learners to achieve their qualifications, including one who scored the highest marks ever on the ICQ platform. That learner has gone on to pursue higher qualifications and now enrols all of his staff in Kiwi & Yuzu courses. Seeing my learners succeed and grow in their careers is incredibly rewarding.
The best part of working for Kiwi & Yuzu has been the unwavering support from the management team. They believed in me enough to give me the confidence to go freelance, which has been an exciting step in my career.Looking ahead, I’m excited about all the future plans for Kiwi & Yuzu, and I’m confident that the company will continue to thrive and grow.
I’m especially passionate about the role that Skills Bootcamps, Apprenticeships, and Short Courses play in preparing the workforce of tomorrow. These programs are essential in ensuring that workers are equipped with the necessary competencies, while also promoting continuous learning and an adaptable approach to care. As the health and social care industry continues to evolve, these forms of training will be crucial for maintaining high-quality care and effective service delivery.
