Course Overview

Tailored for individuals aged 19 and above, this Skills Bootcamp is aimed at individuals looking to progress into a Health Care Assistant role for the National Health Service (NHS).

You’ll develop core competencies in person-centred care, effective communication, and teamwork, all while gaining a thorough understanding of the healthcare environment.

 

From understanding basic administrative tasks and record-keeping to learning how to assist with patient mobility and hygiene, this comprehensive curriculum equips you to handle the day-to-day responsibilities of NHS support work with confidence and professionalism. This bootcamp isn’t just about securing a role—it’s about building a rewarding career in healthcare.

You may be eligible to apply for a Skills Bootcamp if you:

  • Are aged 19 or over
  • Have the right to work in the UK
  • Live in England
